Denise’s unexpected Thanksgiving homecoming upends Barbara and her young lover Marcus’s plans for a cozy weekend. When Denise’s domineering boyfriend Freddie reveals the true reason for the visit, a battle ensues unearthing years of resentment and repressed memories forcing the sisters to choose whether they will succumb to or overcome their family legacy.
