This collection of short plays, written by incarcerated students at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, IL, is the result of a playwriting course taught by playwright and Goodman Theatre Artistic Associate Rebecca Gilman as part of the Northwestern Prison Education Program (NPEP).

See Lighting Foundation

The See Lighting Foundation is a fundraiser for immigrant theater artists financially impacted by COVID-19.  Confronted with the lack of resources for low-income immigrant theater artists, this fundraiser was started to give immediate relief to those in need.

MFA Playwrights

3Views celebrates the 2020 graduating theater student class who lost their final semester to the pandemic. We honor these graduates by holding them in our virtual space in the hopes that their work can be seen in physical space as soon as we can gather again.

Bret Adams

The stated mission of The Bret Adams and Paul Reisch Foundation is to fund big, theatrical ideas. In the week following Broadway's closure, the foundation was faced with a big idea of its own: to redirect their entire 2020 grand budget into emergency assistance grants–fast.

Active Listening

Active Listening is a New Dramatists podcast series that invites the resident playwrights to experiment with story, intimacy, and immediacy through sound experiences. This initiative was borne of the questions that became urgent as our pandemic lockdowns began.

#Enough: Plays to End Gun Violence

The #ENOUGH Nationwide Reading is the culmination of a yearlong theatre activism initiative that started with the call for submissions from teens to write 10-min plays that confront the issue of gun violence.
